Amador Freewill Baptist Church

If you are looking for a church in the Amador County area, we warmly invite you to come and visit!

Thanks for stopping by.  Whether you are looking for a new church or passing through the area we want to extend a very warm welcome.  We know it isn’t easy visiting a new church for the first time and we want your visit to be a good experience. We are intentional about making people feel welcome, whatever their background, including those who have never been to church before.

Service Times

Sundays: 10a.m & 6p.m.

Tuesday Prayer: 6:30 pm

Bible Study 6:30 pm

We are a church that believes in bringing the family together under biblical truths by the infallible Word of God. We are a Bible believing group striving to live our lives so others will see the love of Christ through us. We are dedicated to reaching the unsaved for Jesus and helping fellow Christians mature in their walk with Christ.

What To Expect

  • Friendly people
  • We are small group, composed of people from all over Amador County, and all ages from infants to the “mature”.
  •  People in a mixture of casual to business casual.
  • Family worshiping and learning together.
  • We enjoy a simple worship service with traditional hymns mixed with Biblical choruses sung simply with guitars.
  • Scripture is taught in an uncompromising manner with a strong emphasis on maturing in our faith.

No, the offering bag will NOT come around.  A tithe box is in the foyer, visitors are not expected to give.

Our pastor preaches from the Bible at every service! With this in mind, it would enable you to enjoy the service more if you, too, had a Bible. We preach and teach from the King James Version. Many read from other translations, but there will be some differences in the way that your Bible reads as you follow along throughout the message.  There are bibles available if you don’t have one to bring or forget yours.

As you pull into the parking lot, there is an upper and lower lot.  You are welcome to park in either.  Parking in the lower lot takes you into the fellowship hall of the church, stairs are inside and to the left.  The upper lot takes you to the main entrance and lobby of the church.  Handicap parking is in the upper lot.

We think it is very important that families are together for services.  We are considered a family integrated church and are accustom to the presence of children in the service, and the children are accustomed to being a part of the worship experience. No one will stop you at the door if you try to enter our service with your little ones.  There is a nursery available if you need to take an unhappy infant or child out.  See more HERE
